Fish
Richard is just like Sid on Ice Age 3 (can you believe I watched that film?!!) - his fish have had babies. Yes, they didn't lay eggs, they had live young - he watched them come out. He's moved them into a tank downstairs (yes, we do live in a bungalow - R. sleeps in the loft....) so we can enjoy watching them. Mind you, they are VERY small an hard to spot. Meanwhile, back in MY fish tank (which has a purple lid....) I noticed a baby fish - everyone swooped round to confirm that it wasn't my eyes - and then, next thing I knew, it had been EATEN! It might have been its own father who ate it. As if that wasn't bad enough, Richard watched one of his guppies eat half of her own offspring right after birth. Well, that's life I guess. We've moved the offending daddy fish out of our tank in the hope that there might still be some babies swimming around in there whose lives will be spared.
Meanwhile, Lucy and I are off to the dentist.

hi Tracy Richard needs a breeding tank for when his guppies give birth. The babies will swim through the slots and can't get eaten. Glad to be able to read your news again, it's been a long time since Oct.have you a new e mail address?
Will be in touch
