This week we managed to get the tents up to check out that everything is there - and the sun was shining! I have also been seeing how many boxes I could fit on the newly-painted roof-rack, which was a little disappointing. It is hard to imagine how we will be able to take along a 'library' box and a 'schoolwork' box as well as all that other necessary stuff.... Still, today I have a nice quiet day with Ron and three of the children out at a sale and the rest busy out on the nursery so I shall sew the water-proof cover for the roof-rack next.
The meeting of highlands home-schoolers on the 20th is sorted out and it is possible that there will be an evening meeting in Dundee. apart from that I will hope to be able to arrange to visit Scone Palace with a home-schooling lady who has met one of my sons (possibly Philip).
The prospect of the trip is scary but an opportunity to trust my Heavenly Father and for that reason I am very much looking forward to it.
Ron fixed the van this week (new bearings somewhere) so that it has stopped making horrid growling noises while running, which I am truly thankful for!
