A life in which heartfelt worship of God (daily as individuals and families and weekly as a community) and God-honouring relationships (being things which have to be cultivated and tended carefully and timestakingly) has NOTHING of any value to communicate to the people amongst which it exists.

and on the subject of overpopulation (I'm listening to Rushdoony...)
when we have a party we don't complain that there are too many people - it is only when we have too many people whom we don't like that we think there are too many people. if we think this country is too crowded we don't think that WE should go - only that 'someone else' ought to go, and we know, in our own minds, WHO that is.
Aparantly the rats in India eat a vast proportion of the grain which that rich country produces - the religion of the people prevents them from taking measures to exterminate the rats....
