no 'profound brain things' going on at the moment. Spent a lot of time awake last night - first just 'trying to get to sleep' and then Victoria was restless. Consequently I abandoned hope of sleep at about 4.30am and, saving Ron from further disturbance, brought Victoria to the lounge.
Lucy's off up to London this afternoon and back tommorow - it has, as always, been delightful to have her around again and pleasant to see her quilt progressing. She also made a 6x batch of hazelnut flapjacks so we will be remembering her while we are away too.
