Accountants
Last night we had a family visit. the man is an accountant. We spoke of accountants and Argos catalogues - he didn't admit to ever having added up one of everything in the Argos catalogue.. He did say, however, that when he sits in church he sometimes find himself inadvertently adding up the total of the hymn numbers! I told this to Samuel, we laughed together (he's the one who wants to be an architect) - then he told me that he finds out which digit is most frequently occurring!!! . Must ask my other children what they do with hymn numbers. Me, I just look them UP to sing them! Who could have believed humans could think of different things to do with hymn numbers. Praise God for churches where there are still such things as hymn numbers.....
Praise God for accountants too - they enjoy doing things which make many of us go hot and cold.
