Have been enjoying having everyone home. Many have been ill (flu or colds) so I don't think we have had everyone sitting at the table eating heartily at once (yet). I think about everyone has had though (except Lucy and Timothy) so we on the right side of it. Becky arrived on the 26th and it is lovely to have her around again. The boot socks which were to be for Ron's Christmas present last year (and which I abandoned in confusion at the turning of the heel) are now finished. Thanks entirely to Becky who was (as usual when she comes here) knitting socks herself. She gave me a few hints and helpfully drew up some instructions for me to work on - what with those and the part-finished socks she'd left here and which I could scrutinised - I was able to progress with them. They are now (one year and a week late) ready for wear. I might take a photo of them - they are quite spectacular!!!
Dad and Olive came for short visit on Thursday and the next thing on the program is the 'works outing' tonight - to an Italian restaurant.
