I just read Jamie Soles facebook. He has '25 random things about myself' which was thought-provoking ( I had to try very hard to find a word other than 'interesting' which, I am aware, I over-use. The one I like best was about him being charged by an irate hereford cow - he clearly attributes his survival to the fact that the angels know how to deal with irate hereford cows. There may be 25 random things about myself - but maybe not many of them woudl be of any interest whatsoever to anyone other than myself.
Maybe 7 random things?
1. I was in the army band, I played bass drum and wore a leopard-skin.
2. One of my brothers poured the contents of a stink-bomb into a bottle of scent of mine - and sprinkled some around my room for good measure. I can still 'smell' it now!
3. When I was 7 I couldnt' add up. My grandfather had given me, and each of my brothers, 6d - that's 2 1/2p in new money. I was given a shopping list. I asked for the things I wanted first - I so desperately wanted them. when I got to the end it turned out that I didn't have enough money. I sat in my bedroom in a state of extreme gloom having been unable to make any ammends for my error and feeling like the worst sinner ever. I still remember the taste and texture of the crisps - just like 'quavers' now...
4. the most useful things I learnt at school were reading and typing.
5. I was VERY late reading - my mother used to whack me for not reading words which she supposed I ought to know (like 'please'). I got hooked on reading courtesy of Enid Blyton at the age of 11.
6. I was married when I was 19.
7. I was the second of three siblings and determined, at the age of 14, on a bus on the way to manchester one day, that 3 was a bad number of children, as was 4 - 5 was the optimum number of children to have, now I have 11. I only had 5 for 12 minutes (arguably). Thomas was soon followed by Samuel.

I don't think I could make it to 25 things - 7 was tricky enough!
