And another thing on the tennis. About half an hour before Laura Robson held up that cup with a large grin over her delightful face, she was battling for points, hitting double-faults and long balls. She'd no idea that she was going to win - she only hoped she would. Then in a twinkling all that battling is history and there is just joy, joy, joy!

If only we knew how close we were to our joy we might be a little more patient. Then again, maybe we wouldn't. THAT there is joy is enough, WHEN it will be ours is best left in the hands of the Almighty. Let us so live that men may see our good works and Glorify our Father in Heaven - because we don't know how long we will have to do it.

If were able to watch the match again, knowing already what the result was, it wouldn't be half so much fun (though Simon agreed with me that it was 'very bad for the nerves' watching it live!!).
