Today I am thankful that the Lord God not only made sweet peas in gorgeous colours but they have the added bonus of smelling delicious - I couldnt' even make one of these things but God has them out there growing up and producing spirit-fortifying flowers. I'm also thankful that I was able to play a small part in the show by having planted and nurtured them before they were big enough to go out in the garden.
So many things that the Lord didn't 'need' to do (we could be living in a black-and-white world - or it could be coloured and we mightn't have eyes which could see : then again we could be living in a world devoid of scent - or full of it with no olfactory facility!!!) - what an extravagant God we have - WOW!
