Ominous thumping is being emitted from the neighbour's garden. A sleepless night is before me I fear. Shame it wasn't tommorow, I'd have missed it. Still, I console myself with the thought that it might be worse in Didsbury - Dad's house is a short distance from the pub- maybe they are having a noisy shindig tonight too...
