One of the joys of children is in the things they say...
On the way back from a jolly trip to Tesco (for the fulfillment of a 'full-chart' earned by Simon) where Simon and Lucy had partaken of a cooked breakfast in the coffee-shop, the following conversation took place:
Simon: - gave a brief account of an experience of a (male) friend of his, in regard to an incomprehensible (to him) exchange of conversation when he was playing with a (female) friend of his.
one of the others in the van: it must be a bit tough for him being amongst girls so much of the time (we all know girls are bossy!) ......... general feelings of sympathy with said boy followed ..........
Richard: he has a halo you know?
Simon: no, it's an INhalo...
someone else: you mean an INHALER!

as for me, I had a good hearty laugh and thanked the Lord (again) for children (esp. mine)!
