Lucy et al left this morning for home (Ramsgate) via the hospital (checks for mum and baby). Josiah was very good last night - he fed at 10pm and then at 2am - quite grown-up of him! Victoria was sad to see them go.

After a lot of indecision Ron was cleared to come home - and has been back about 30 minutes. He asked me to thank you all for your prayers. He will have some appointments with a nurse and also with the clinic. he will be on antibiotics for several weeks to come. The doctors (who knew the full extent of the mess he was in!) were VERY pleased with how he has come on. As we walked out of the ward several of the other men stopped talking to their guests in order to wish Ron well and confirm that their eyes were not decieving them and he was really going!. It reminded me of when 'the father of the Marshalsea' left - in Little Dorrit!
