He's had his stitches out and all seems to be satisfactory. His only complaint is that he's so very tired all the time. I told him that the answer to that is to rest.....
The garden's looking lovely - good news for all of those of you who are planning to come and visit soon.
Richard has another appointment at the ENT dept. (this time in Ashford) but seems to be making good progress. He does, however, look set to lose weight over the next couple of years as he's just had 'train-tracks' fitted and finding it's keeping him from sleep as well as making the practicalities of eating a little trying.
Josiah's doing wonderfully well - and is very well behaved at night too. His sodium is good though there is another element (which, as well as the sodium, was part of a range of 16 bad things which were going on at first) which isn't quite right. Lucy's glad to be having her house re-roofed though is finding it a bit of a strain so soon after a c-section with lots of extra people to feed and provide with tea. She has been very appreciative of Joanna (and how happy Joanna is to have this opportunity to stay with Lucy and be useful for so long - 9 days by the time I get her back!) who can make tea, stir things and even look after the baby! this reminds me of how desperately sad Joanna was the day Lucy got married - and how we had such a hard time to get her to pull herself together in time for walking out of the church and then photos. Again I am reminded that all our griefs have to be set in the perspective of a Loving Father who will, in the end, give us ample cause for smiling.

So glad Ron is doing much better. Thinking of you all and happy for Joanna!
Yes, the Father is gracious to us. England in spring is just exquisite. I took the dog for a walk near Virginia Water today and just wanted to cry with sheer joy at the beauty:)
Love to you all,
Caroline....W!
I thought anonymous meant no name!! Ha ha. Guess I was wrong.
CW.
Give Ron our love and tell him we agree that he needs to rest up. I know it goes against the grain for him!
I can totally sympathise with Lucy. The last thing one wants after a c-section (or a "regular" birth) is extra people to look after, even if they are doing something helpful! Glad to hear that Joanna has come to the rescue on the tea making front.
Do you have any photos of your lovely garden to share?
Sue (and Stephen) Perks xXx
