ron had to go to the practice nurse today to have his wounds looked at and re-dressed. The nurse was a man who said (ominously) 'they're going to have fun getting those stitches out'. That fun will be occurring on Wednesday DV.
Richard has an appointment at the ENT clinic tomorrow morning. he still has earache. He tells me that the reason he didn't wake up when I went in yesterday morning was that he can't hear anything out of that ear - and the other was on the pillow. he's in good spirits though.
Everyone else is behaving themselves (on the whole) and cheerful, if weary. If you don't live in England, I pity you - it's fantastic here just now - blossom and spring flowers all over the place and the evening air is heavy with the smell of flowers and grass - it's even quite warm. Two of the boys are out playing badminton.

Yes Tracy, It can be quite addicting! And I only said to Rebekah on Thurs. morning when we checked for an update that no news was good news! Shows how wrong I was. We will be continuing to pray for you all. It may be that Richard's hearing has been temporarily lost if his ear drum burst with the awful infection he had. This can take a while to heal; several weeks. Rachel has had a burst eardrum a couple of times(praise God without hearing loss which greatly surprised our GP)and was referred to audiology but as that takes ages to come, all was healed and back to normal by the time she had an appointment! Love from us all
OK I admit it I'm addicted too! Thanks for the update. We continue to pray for you all. It was wonderful to see you on Sunday. Kathy and co
I hadn't kept up with this blog, so having read all the recent news in one go the other evening felt quite overwhelmed by it all! What a couple of weeks you've had! We are praying that everyone will heal well. Glad that you are able to enjoy the lovely weather.
