Josiah is under the lamp to try and reduce the yellowness. Lucy, at least, doest have to sit holding him under the lamp while she's feeding him (which I was required to do when I had a yellow baby under the lamp.) Lucy has found that her hb. is down to 7.8 so is eating expensive choc. watercress, dried apricots - I already sent some spatone for her. As always on NICU, if you are breastfeeding, there's the question 'whether you have enough milk' - so she's also going to be expressing. ONe does what one is required to do so that one can get ones baby back as soon as possible. There are some vey expensive bits of my breastpump which I've just taken to Lucy which will, hopefully maximise potential milk supply.

After seeing Lucy this afternoon we went over to see Ron who was still there - hadn't yet gone to surgery. He'd not been allowed to eat since last night (or drink!) and was a bit miffed (to say the least) that he was still waiting and not sure that he will even be going to theatre today. It wouldnt' be so bad if he could be knitting while he waits ; ) .

I'll phone shortly to see where he is as it's visitng time again now.
