Ron was operated on today - he's had the end of his finger taken off. He's also had the thing on his back cut out and they've left it open. They want to have him back in theatre on monday to clean it out again before sewing it up, if it's ok.

This afternoon I took James to visit but Ron was only just round. He says he went at 10am and wasn't back until 2pm.

Lucy's down here tomorrow mng DV - and should be able to visit Ron tomorrow afternoon.

I thought i was pretty flexible and could take life in my stride but this is getting a bit beyond me.....

I hope you all will pray that my sore throat will get better - that would make life quite a bit more comfy.
