Ron has a new perspective on life since he's been moved into the corner. The very old man who talked to himself when he wasn't coughing was moved somewhere else and there are a couple of young lads (who inevitably incur lots of visitors). We were able to go out during evening visiting as the weather is mild enough and it wasn't raining. I've not spoken to Ron this morning but he's going to be taken to theatre at some point - I'll have to phone the ward at 2 to find out whether he's gone/returned.
I got a picture of Ron and Lucy (she walks around as much as she can!) for posterity. How kind of the Lord to maximise our resources by putting two family members in one hospital at the same time (and what a cause for thankfulness that for me it's not a great distance).

My throat is a bit better than it was. Richard doesn't have stomach ache today - back to merely headache/sore throat.

Lucy emailed this morning to say that she's been up for a scan to confirm that it is a head where she thought it was a head. Though no contractions are going on everything is all there ready to go, when the Lord speaks! I'm thankful that so many people are praying and am grateful for the messages of support. Taking phone calls to inform all the people who care would take more time than I have considering we're 'short staffed' at home and therefore I'm doing washing and washing-up as well as meal prep and bedtime stories etc etc etc etc. (and no-one's tidying up....)

We were fantastically encouraged at church yesterday - so nice to see friends old and new. Dick Dowsett was speaking - it was the missionary weekend - and I'd recommend all who are able to go to Christchurch Virginia Water website and download / listen. I'm waiting for the evening message to be online becuase i missed that while visiting Ron.
